The visionaries who are the governing council members have brought out the institution, St. George College of Management and Science and then upgraded it with an addition of Nursing education. St. George educational & charitable Trust Bangalore runs St. George College of Nursing since 2002, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health And Science (RGUHS) recognized by government of Karnataka and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) New Delhi, It therefore stands today named St George College.
