    • SIT Alumni Association is formed with the sole objective of bringing all the SITians onto a platform for the mutual benefits. The 1st batch of students have rolled out of the institution in 1968, Since then, there are around 33,753 students who have left the portals of this institution and occupied various positions in the organisations around the world. The association became very active since 1999 under the stewardship of Dr. M N Channabasppa, Director, SIT Tumkur. The 1st meet was held on 2nd October 1999, since then meets are held on the 2nd Oct of every year. Bangalore Chapter was formed in 2001, meets are held on 1st May every year since then. Hyderabad Chapter is formed in the year 2006. It is also proposed to start similar chapters in other parts of India & worldwide.
